Sterling School will be participating in Greenville’s Relay For Life.
What is Relay?
Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s largest fundraising event. Team members spend several months raising money for the actual culminating Relay event which is a celebration of our hard work and fundraising efforts. Cancer never sleeps, so for one night, neither do we. At the event, our team will take turns walking around the track to raise awareness to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
Team sponsors stay the entire time; however, it is not required of each member to stay that long. Please talk to Mrs. Henry (Farnsworth) about the details.
Our Reason to Relay
We are making a difference by teaming up to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. Saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, and one dollar at a time. Our team is doing our part to make sure that cancer never steals another year of anyone’s life. Please join our team or make a donation. The impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone!
Join Our Team
If you would like to join our team, please click on the link below to go to our school’s Relay site. From there you may click the link “Join My Team”. There will be step by step instructions on how to join from there. If you join our team, we ask that you commit to raising $100.00. Parents, students, faculty and staff are all welcome to join. We have several ways to help you raise the money. If you have any questions come see Mrs. Henry (Farnsworth).
Donate To Our Cause
If you would like to make a donation you may click the link below and it will give you instructions on how to make a donation online. You may donate to our school team or you may select a specific member of our team. You may also stop by the office and give your donation to Mrs. Henry (Farnsworth). We have luminary bags for sale in the office. All of the money that we collect goes to the American Cancer Society and some of that money stays in our local chapter to help local cancer patients and provide them with services.
